What is #Faith? Hebrews 11:1 provides the #Biblical definition of faith, however the English translations are usually found wanting. Properly translated, it reads “faith is confident expectation, being sure it’s done before you see it.” This is why #Jesus said “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24). We’re to #believe that our #prayer is answered before we physically see it, simply because God’s Word promises it (1 John 5:15). This is true for #forgiveness of sin & physical #healing (Ps 103:2-3) & every promise God has made (2 Cor 1:20).
