Yiou Huang (Emily) is a student in Grade 11 at Beijing Royal School - China.
Academic anxiety tormented Yiou Huang during the IGCSE examinations, so she tried to find the cause by conducting a survey. The results demonstrated that the rise in academic anxiety levels was actually due to external comments from others rather than the pursuit of knowledge. To solve this problem, Yiou Huang conducted another survey and discovered an emotion regulation strategy, called cognitive reappraisal.
