Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Britain's Prince William paid tribute to Canada’s involvement in the battle of Normandy on the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday during a ceremony on Juno Beach. The ceremony included a performance by Canada’s armed forces parachute team, the Skyhawks, who landed on the beach in parachutes donning the Canadian flag. Several artists, including First Nation singers from Saskatchewan, also took part in the ceremony.
