This is for all those working on their Ayesha.
There is so much going on with this move. Some of which include:
đŞFlexibility in the hamstrings
đŞStrength in the quads
đŞOverhead mobility
đŞOverhead pushing strength
đŞPulling strength with top arm
đŞand of course a killer core!
Here are my top tips.
Ensure you are confident in the pole tricks:
đButterfly - pushing shoulder to ear.
đCaterpillar Push Ups - repeating the movement for a conditioning move will help you develop the strength needed. Then proceed to one handed caterpillars.
đExtended Butterfly and holding it aim for 5 seconds. q + b ij
đFlower - this will help you build confidence to remove leg grip and also help you push your hips back away at a good distance. Too far away and your butt will grad you down when you release your legs.
Off the pole exercises you could incorporate are:
âRussian Twists
âPlank to Downward Dog
âScapula Push Ups
With weights, consider
đShoulder Presses
đWindmills
đBent Over Row
