Apple fritters
For the batter:
3/4 cup 4.5 oz ap flour
1/3 cup (75 ml) whole milk
1 tsp yeast
1/4 cup (60 ml) pale ale beer
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp neutral oil
Pinch of salt
2 egg whites beaten
For the rest:
6 apples
Juice of 1 lemon
4 oz or 100g sugar
3 tbsp calvados
Powered sugar for garnish
