A control moment gyroscope (CMG) is an attitude control device generally used in spacecraft attitude control systems. The particular CMG consists of a spinning rotor and one motorized gimbal that tilts the rotor’s angular momentum. As the rotor tilts, the changing angular momentum causes a gyroscopic torque that rotates an aluminium frame. At the biggest European educational fair for STEM teachers around 450 primary and secondary school teachers from over 30 countries come together to exchange best practice teaching concepts.
