Mac & Cheese is a staple side dish for the holidays and I love bringing it to potlucks. It's rich, creamy, and the undisputed king of side dishes. Campbell’s 4 Cheese Mac & Cheese
1 Can (10.5oz) Campbell’s® Cheddar Cheese Soup
8 ounces Elbow Noodles
2 Cups Heavy Cream
Spices (Salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika)
8 oz Shredded Smoked Gouda
1 Cup Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
1 Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
8 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1. In a medium-sized pot, heat 2 Cups of heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to slightly simmer. Do not let it come to a boil. Add full can of Campbell’s® Cheddar Cheese Soup, mix until combined.
2. Reduce the heat to low and gradually add 1 Cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1 Cup of shredded Colby jack cheese, & 8 oz of smoked gouda. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and incorporates into the cream, creating a smooth and creamy cheese sauce.
3. Turn off the heat and lightly season with 2 tsp each of; salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika. Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust if need be.
4. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add 2 Tbsp of salt, then cook 8 ounces of elbow noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside (do not rinse).
5. Add the cooked macaroni noodles to a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over the noodles. Add another 1⁄2 Cup of shredded Colby jack cheese and mix well so that there are bits of cheese distributed throughout.
6. Fully Cover the surface of the baking dish with of the Shredded Cheddar cheese and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes at 300°F (150°C) and take it out when it's fully melted or to your desired color.
