The pilot who died in a small plane crash on July 4 in Clinton County has been identified as 17-year-old Maisie Bitler.
Bitler was piloting a small-engine Cessna 172 when it crashed into a wooded area near South Allegheny St. in Woodward Township on Thursday. A preliminary report from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ruled the crash accidental due to "unknown circumstances."
