A time was had at the Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair Show!! It was my first time attending and it was incredible! I’ve never been surrounded by so many hair products! It’s a product junkie’s dream! There were hair companies, makeup companies, skincare companies, barber competitions, loc competitions, performances, and more!!
Performing my poetry, especially my pieces from my EP, “A Black Girl and Her Hair,” was definitely TOP TIER! I’m proud of myself for navigating my first ever convention as an entrepreneur, while simultaneously being Talent for the first day. It was a lot going on and I was super exhausted, but I made it work!
I could NOT have done it with my sis, Danielle! I’m so grateful for our friendship and sistahood. We make a great team!
