Today, the Golden Age of Hard Rock Concert Time Machine takes us back to April 18, 1979 when VAN HALEN played in Canada for the very first time at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. VAN HALEN was supporting their album Van Halen II and this was their first headlining tour. The tour consisted of 108 performances with shows in the USA, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, England and Japan. Opening night was on March 25, 1979 in Fresno, California and the tour closed at the Forum in LA on October 7, 1979. 🤘
