23-year-old Julien Alfred has had one of the best seasons by a sprinter ever, winning the World Indoor Championships 60m in March and coming back to take her first Olympic title in the 100m in a lifetime-best 10.72. The Texas-based St. Lucian is now T-8th on the all-time list for 100 meters.
