February 2024 brings with it an odd and dangerous Facebook ad that is claiming Reba McEntire is leaving "The Voice" because she was "furious" at NBC about an arrangement they had with Weight Watchers, as she purportedly told "Good Morning America" ("GMA"). The headline of the Facebook post said, "Reba McEntire Abandons 'The Voice' Following Dispute." According to the Facebook post, Reba McEntire said, "I stand by my decisions, I'll miss y'all." The post leads to a People magazine article with the headline reads, "Reba McEntire Confirms She Is 'LEAVING' The Voice After Her Accidental 'Live' Confession On-Air..." However, the truth is that People magazine never wrote this. Further, McEntire is not leaving "The Voice." Scammers copied the design of People magazine to promote a fictional story about McEntire leaving the show in order to promote Proton Keto ACV Gummies or ActivBoost Keto+ACV Gummies.
