In a press conference on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, lawmakers and police officers injured during the Jan. 6, 2021 riots at the U.S. Capitol reacted to President Donald Trump's sweeping pardons of the rioters. DC Metro Police officer Daniel Hodges and former U.S. Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn joined U.S. Reps. Dan Goldman, Jason Crow, Chrissy Houlahan and Eric Swalwell for the press conference.
"Donald Trump does not back the blue" Swalwell said. "He backs the coup."
