- UGC has allocated Rs.34.25 Crore for constructing a new Library building (5000 sq.mtr)
- Implemented “Open Access Policy of Central University of Haryana“. Perhaps our University is the first Central University to implement the said policy.
- Introduction of UGC mandated two-credit Course i.e. “Research and Publication Ethics” for PhD students of 30+ Departments and successfully completed three batches (2021, 2022, 2023) comprising over 400+ researchers.
- Introduced “Online Book Publishing Course” in association with National Book Trust, 2021.
- Establishment of Granth Academy of National Book Trust.
- Implementation of INFED and IRINS of INFLIBNET for the benefit of readers and faculty members.
- Open consultancy for developing District Library of Mahendergarh on the request of District Commissioner, Mahendergarh district.

- For the 2nd time, PDU Central Library bagged Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation Award-2021 (3rd rank) as ‘the most cleanest departments’ among 38 departments.
- Dr. Rajeev Vashistha, Deputy Librarian was awarded Dr. S R Ranganathan Memorial Scholar Award 2022
- Dr. Santosh C. Hulagabali, University Librarian was awarded Dr. T B Rajashekhar Fellowship in Library and Information Science (under the banner of LIS Academy Awards 2021) on 6th Jan. 2022.
