Our Library strongly advocates open research or open science.
Open research (or open science/scholarship) is the practice of research that enables others to collaborate, validate and contribute, where research outputs, data, protocols, lab notes and other research processes are freely available, under terms that enable reuse, redistribution and reproduction of the research and its underlying data and methods. (University of Oxford).
We promote open access resources and open access practices for harnessing the value and importance of open access in teaching, training, research and publication activities. In fact, any supportive initiative or activities concerning the open access is good for the larger interest of the research community/ public.
So we do encourage our researchers to contact us for any assistance required to know/ learn or practice any of the following aspects:
- Publishing in open access journals
- Open access tools/ platforms
- Open licenses
- Creative Commons
- Copyright and Copyleft
- Open educational resources
- Open access
- any other matter concerning open access
